Scouted for a fly fishing charter. Spent TWO days looking for drum, carp and bowfin on the Lake Saint Clair Flats without making contact. Saw largemouth, smallmouth, suckers, perch but none of the target species. Ended up cancelling the trip – no point in taking a client when I don’t see fish a few days earlier.
