7/24/23 Sight fished Lake Saint Clair along the south channel on north facing shore. Target species – drum (sheepshead), bowfin (dogfish) and carp. Spotted 10 drum, fished three of the drum with a sinking crawdad pattern. Had a smallmouth grab the fly as the drum was moving over the fly. TWICE. The third drum opened its mouth to inhale the fly but I set the hook too soon. No dogfish and only one cruising carp spotted. Caught largemouth, smallmouth and bluegill. Mopfly in chartreuse caught the bluegill, olive rabbit fur streamer caught the bass. Saw gar, drum, largemouth and smallmouth bass, bluegill, pike, carp and suckers; loads of species!
