Trip #10 was OK; mix of bluegill, perch and crappie. Trip #11 was better; I caught half a dozen nice crappie, six medium sized gills and three barely keeper perch and one big rock bass. Not a lights out / limit day, but a few fish that could be taken home. The bite was sporadic; good fish would bite for three or four minutes, then the tiny perch would move back in. I fished the Detroit River canals for trip #10 and #11. The best lure by far was a Purist jig; I inserted a link. No sponsorship, but I did catch decent fish. I was surprised how the bluegill came in during night fall.
