8/14 Fished reeds along the middle channel of the Saint Clair River looking for bluegills and found small perch. Went up river and fished canals off the Saint Clair River and found a few nice gills and a big perch. Towards evening I fished canals off Lake Saint Clair and caught bluegills. Leaf worm under a float worked well as did a chartreuse mop fly.
