Night fished The Au Sable river from McKinley Bridge to the 4001 Bridge. All three anglers caught one 12″ trout on dry flies. We had a tasty shore lunch at nightfall; then watched for a mayfly hatch. The big bugs didn’t show up, and the night bite was a bust. It Happens.
