Detroit River bass

June 30, 2024 //  by Kevin Johnston

6/28/24

Fished for bass (white, smallmouth and largemouth) from Peche Island to Belle Ille on the Detroit River. Launched from St. Jean boat ramp in Detroit we crossed the international border and caught all three types of bass; largemouth, smallmouth and white bass. The smallmouth and largemouth came on green 5″ plastics rigged drop shot and Neko. White bass hit 1/3 oz. silver Kastmaster spoons.

White bass off the Canadian shoreline.
Nice largemouth from the Peche Island seawall.
