Fished the Venetian canals on Lake Saint Clair, very close to Mac Ray’s. Looking for bluegill, all we found were small (2 to 4″) perch and a couple of 5″ largemouth. Very slow for us; I’m sure someone found aggressive fish though. It was nice fishing with a shanty as it was a bit windy. Used spikes on teardrops and set a minnow / jig combination under a float.
