Fall Bite Improving on LSC

September 10, 2025 //  by Kevin Johnston

9/8/25

Fished the Belle River Hump on the Canadian side of Lake Saint Clair. Started at daybreak and caught rock bass, largemouth bass and a few decent perch early. The perch got smaller as the morning wore on. I fished the very tip of the Belle River Hump. Vertical jigged near the cormorant tower and caught a nice drum at noon on a 1 oz leadhead jig with blue ice Fin-S plastic.

big largemouth!

one of six nice perch – loads of runts mixed in.
Fished the very end of point sticking out.
Dandy drum!
