Fished both morning and afternoon on Lake Saint Clair off the Puce River. Morning trip was more productive; we caught channel catfish, smallmouth and perch. Nothing going on with the white bass though. Afternoon trip produced two smallmouth and a runt perch. We saw lots of fish in the afternoon but they weren’t interested in our offerings. Bright, clear sky and the water was clear too. Tough fishing conditions for sure.
