Fished the headwaters of the Detroit River and Lake Saint Claire for white and smallmouth bass. Bite was decent; not great with a clear morning sky. Mid day brought clouds and wind which seemed to help the bite. Plastics, crawlers and leeches caught smallmouth. White bass top water bite was good once the clouds rolled in.
Dandy smallmouth! a PB for this angler.
